If I popped a blackhead, can I still apply a homemade honey face mask?

I realized honey makes my blackheads (and pimples) smaller, but the brownish black thing in the middle still stayed the same, so I attempted to take it out with tweezers...gross, I know...but necessary. I think I got it, because now it's just red where the little thing in the middle was...can I apply honey to this even though it's kinda open? or will the thing in honey (antimicrobials) hurt me since they could get into my open blackhead??? Thanks in advance ya'll! :)If I popped a blackhead, can I still apply a homemade honey face mask?

Honey actually has healing properties %26amp; has been used to heal wounds forever. So the answer is yes and it will be good for your skin and sore spot. Invest in a blackhead extractor its much more gentle than tweezers.

it will spread EVERYWHERE!

I recently read up on this and have been using egg white with six drops of lemon juice. It works really well. I've been using it for about a week and have seen a difference. I just separate the egg white and beat it until it gets foamy, then I put about six drops of lemon juice in it and just smear it all over my face. The egg white tightens and closes your pores. (egg whites are for oily skin) The lemon helps to even out your skin and helps with scars or blemishes. It makes your face really tight but really really soft. You won't see results the same day, but if you keep it up you will see results within a few days. I started off leaving it on for about 20 minutes then I started sleeping with it on. That's when I really started seeing results, but I'd just do it for 20 minutes first to see how your skin handles it and then try overnight. Good luck...
Ivory soap dries out your skin, so I would go with that. More than liely you have oily skin, so try using Ivory
Okay, toothpaste is good for treating the redness. It's not going to make your pimples go away or prevent them. Get a good face wash, and drink LOTS of water. I used to have very bad acne, and I bought Avon's ANEW 2-in-1 facewash and cleanser. It works so well, and doesnt burn or anything.

Blackheads- not to sure about. I have a major blackhead problem so I would love to know what to do for those!
Hi there!

Before you spent loads of money on the commercial creams and lotions, there are some home remedies that you may wish to try to get rid of your irritating pimples. For acne that flares at that time of the month, drink one to two cups of chasteberry tea a day. Some studies have shown that this herb helps regulate female hormones. However, this herb is only effective if you take it at least 2 to 3 months consistently.

You can also try dabbing vinegar or lemon juice on your pimples. Apply a small portion of the vinegar initially to see if your skin is sensitive to it. Most of the cases, this would not have any sensitivity issues. All vinegars and lemons contain acids that can help flush out pores. Another easy home remedy is to apply aloe vera on your pimples once a day. One study found that 90 percent of skin sores were completely healed with aloe vera within 5 days!

For other natural remedies for acne treatment, you can read abt them here:
An ideal mask that extracts dirt and oil from clogged pores can be made by using orange peel and yogurt. It also opens up the clogged pores that cause acne and blackheads.Clay masks used regularly helps pull out trapped oil and dead skin.Check out for more useful tips to control blackheads.

i know it sounds wierd but try a dab of karo syrup on area after steaming face with a warm cloth. As the syrup starts getting stickier take your fingers and tap the syrup, it creates a sucking effect that helps pull those bad boys out. Becareful though, if you do it too long you can actually pull a layer of skin off.Really good homemade remedy for stubborn blackhead?

Any homemade treatments for blackheads and acne?

Try this site it has a lot of home remedies for acne hope it helpsAny homemade treatments for blackheads and acne?
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem dot com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.Any homemade treatments for blackheads and acne?

Bicarb of Soda - but it will make your face quite dry - so buy some moisteriser.Acne %26amp; blackhead regimen (HOMEMADE)?
I don't know of any home-made remedies, but if you want to do something home-made just because it's super cheap, I know of a really cheap kind of acne-treatment stuff that works like a dream. It's called Mary Kay Acne Treatment Gel and you can buy it now off ebay for about $2.42. You can put on any blemishes you have before you go to bed at night and you can barely see them the next day and they're basically gone by the day after that. Hope I could help and good luck!
Toothpaste or apple cider vinegar. Both work really well!!

I need homemade zit and blackhead treatments?

ive already tried the toothpaste thing it didnt work. i need some treatments that realy workI need homemade zit and blackhead treatments?
hot showers and baths open the pores.I need homemade zit and blackhead treatments?
    I heard yogurt masks help
m.o.m (milk of magnesia)--on the spot zit treatment.

    hope this helps!
When I was in high-school it was like a morning popping ritual, zits. After I graduated we went hiking in the mountains and I took my zit pin and mirror, and oxy with me, never had one zit 2 weeks in the moutains.
Get some uncoated asprin and add warm water. The asprin will get soft and then you smoosh them up into a paste, then put it on the zits/blackheads. Wait 10-15 minutes, then scrub your face with the paste, and rinse.
salt and water!!!! i swear it works!
After you shower and before you go to bed, rinse the trouble spots with cider vinegar, let it sit for a minute and then rinse with clean water.

This will kill any bacteria, shrink your pores, get rid of any soap residue, and adjust your skins ph balance back to normal.

Unlike using alcohol or toothpaste(?) this doesn't harm the skin but instead makes it healthier. -It is also good for your hair.

-You might feel a slight stinging the first time you use this, ignore it and it will pass. You shouldn't feel any stinging the second or third time you use it as any micro abrasions your face might have had should have healed by then.

-White vinegar is also supposed to work, I have always prefered and used cider vinegar though.
I used to use alcohol and cotton balls after each shower. It helpd a lot. It removes the oily substance that showering doesn't get.
try eliminating the cause (junk food and not washing your face thoroughly every day) and maybe you won't then need a treatment. toothpaste is a harsh and abrasive substance and will burn your skin and leave it more prone to spots - so stop using that. you won't want to hear it, but it really is best left alone, no products at all, watch your diet, get lots of fresh air and your skin should sort itself out.
